What is Back My Project?

Back My Project is where schools go to fund any and all school-related projects. Using crowd funding technology, schools are able to connect with their communities and find support online.

What is crowd funding?

Crowd funding is when a group of individuals come together (usually online) to support a particular project, effort or campaign. As the saying goes, a little goes a long way -- especially when a little comes from an entire school community!

Who can create a project?

Anyone with school ties -- students, teachers, parents & school affiliates.

What sorts of projects can I create?

Like we teach our children, the sky is the limit -- build a chicken coop, design a robotic hand, update your theatre's lighting system! Of course, you can also create more on-the-ground projects that are just as important -- purchase new classroom/office supplies or send your students on a field trip!

How can I create a project?

Simply visit our Back My Project tool and click the Submit Project button.

Do I have to give rewards to people that support my project?

Designing rewards for your supporters (aka backers) is not mandatory. However, they are a great way to say thank you to the people that help to bring your project to life!

How can I support a project?

What a lovely question! To contribute to a project just click on the Back This Project button. You can also show your support by sharing a project with your friends and family -- simply go to the project page and click on any of the social media buttons.
